Terms of service

Consultations:
1.    The couple is entitled to one (1) consultation free of charge, which will last approximately one (1) hour.
2.    A second consultation, if required, will incur a charge of $65.00.
3.    A third consultation, if required, will incur a charge of $150.00.
4.    Petal & Bloom reserves the right to discontinue services if, after three (3) consultations, an agreement cannot be reached. If this occurs, the couple will be notified via email.

Quotes:
1.    The couple is entitled to one (1) initial basic quote free of charge, which includes up to three (3) adjustments free of charge.
2.    A second basic quote, if required, will incur a charge of $65.00, with up to three (3) adjustments free of charge.
3.    A third basic quote, if required, will incur a charge of $100.00, with adjustments to this quote charged at $35.00 each.
4.    If, after three (3) quotes, an agreement cannot be reached, Petal & Bloom reserves the right to withdraw from the contract and will no longer provide services. The couple will be notified via email.
5.    A finalized and detailed quote and vision board will be provided ONLY after Petal & Bloom has received the signed contract and retainer fee.

Booking and Confirmation:
1.    The couple agrees to pay a non-refundable retainer fee of $250.00 to hold their wedding date. This fee will be forfeited in the event of cancellation or if the couple no longer requires the services of Petal & Bloom.
2.    The retainer fee must be paid within two (2) weeks of receiving the initial quote, along with the signed contract.
3.    Failure to submit the signed contract and retainer fee by the specified due date will result in the loss of the reserved wedding date. The couple will be notified via email should this occur.

Payment:
1.    Full payment is due no later than four (4) weeks prior to the wedding date. No exceptions will be made. The payment due date is: ________________.
2.    A late payment fee of 25% of the agreed-upon quote will be applied if payment is received after this date.
3.    If full payment is not received by the due date, the account will be closed, and Petal & Bloom will no longer be obligated to provide services. The couple will be notified via email if this occurs.
4.    Payment plans, if required, are to be discussed with Petal & Bloom at the time of confirmation. Full payment must be received no later than four (4) weeks prior to the wedding date.
5.    Invoices and receipts for all payments will be provided via email.

Cancellations and Additions:
1.    Cancellations of more than 10% of the agreed-upon quote will not be accepted once the retainer fee and signed contract have been received.
2.    Cancellations requested within one (1) month (4 weeks) of the wedding will result in the couple still being responsible for the full agreed-upon quote, with no refund. The cancellation due date is: ________________.
3.    Any increases to the order requested after this date will be considered based on availability only.

Communication:
1.    All forms of communication are accepted, but all invoices, receipts, and quotes will be provided via email.
2.    Petal & Bloom will only communicate with the couple and/or their planner/coordinator, if applicable. The planner/coordinator for the couple is: _________________.
3.    Petal & Bloom is not responsible for communicating any information discussed with the couple to outside persons acting on the couple’s behalf, both before and after the wedding.
4.    Petal & Bloom is not responsible for confusion or miscommunication caused by outside sources acting on the couple’s behalf, including but not limited to last-minute additions, cancellations, suggestions, inquiries, in-person store visits, emails, phone calls, or messages via social media.
5.    Abusive, offensive language, actions, or threats from the couple or individuals acting on their behalf will not be tolerated. Petal & Bloom reserves the right to discontinue services and withdraw any products at any time, up to and including the wedding day, should this occur.

Your Vendor Team:
1.    The couple must inform Petal & Bloom of any vendors added to their team after the time of consultation.
2.    Petal & Bloom will be in communication and coordination with the other vendors up to and including the wedding day, unless otherwise discussed or specified.
3.    Petal & Bloom will take responsibility for delivering the florals. Various delivery locations are accepted. Pickups may be arranged at the discretion of Petal & Bloom.
4.    Petal & Bloom does not provide third-party payment options. Any services requested by another vendor will be invoiced directly to the couple.
5.    Any florals provided to vendors (such as cake artists, photographers, decorators) will be included in the final invoice and coordinated by Petal & Bloom, unless otherwise specified.
6.    Installations of any sort must be carried out by Petal & Bloom and may not be moved or adjusted by any other vendor unless previously arranged between that vendor and Petal & Bloom. Petal & Bloom will not assume responsibility if the couple and/or their planner/coordinator fail to inform Petal & Bloom of any necessary adjustments.
7.    Petal & Bloom will not provide refunds to the couple for any florals that have been removed from their décor by another vendor.
8.    Petal & Bloom will not provide refunds to the couple for any florals that have been damaged by another vendor.
9.    Additions requested by other vendors after the adjustment deadline (provided above) will be considered based on availability only and invoiced directly to the couple unless otherwise specified.

Exclusivity:
1.    The couple understands that, in order to maintain the integrity of the product and design, Petal & Bloom will act as the sole and exclusive provider for all wedding florals once the retainer fee and signed contract have been received, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
2.    No other person, company, or vendor, whether professional or not, may provide artificial floral products for the ceremony or reception without written consent from Petal & Bloom. Should this occur, Petal & Bloom reserves the right to withdraw services and products, including up to the wedding day.

Flowers:
1.    The couple is fully responsible for the condition of florals once delivery or pickup has occurred. Petal & Bloom is not liable for any damage to florals after they have been delivered or picked up.
2.    The couple understands that flower costs fluctuate and may be subject to change. Petal & Bloom will inform the couple of any price changes and available substitution options, if required.

Rentals:
1.    The couple is fully responsible for the condition of all rental items while in their possession, including items rented by Petal & Bloom from external sources on the couple’s behalf.
2.    The couple agrees to reimburse Petal & Bloom for any damages to or loss of rented items while in their possession, including those rented from external sources.
